House Cleansings with a Medium in Midland Ontario

A Haunted house isn't always an old abandoned place, with the windows smashed out and the full moon shining casting shadows all over the place.

I've been to so many homes that have issues, one way or another, and need a house cleansing. Sometimes it's a moody teenager who lives in the house who is the cause of the big energy fluctuations, sometimes it's spirit actually stuck or attached to the house for one reason or another.

In this case, it was simply a relative who were hanging around the family, trying to be helpful.

I sat in the basement of the clients home, and worked on tuning in the way I do, using my Medium ability, to see who it was in the basement. The family sat with me in the basement, which in this case was helpful. There are time when I like to sit alone to feel out a room, but the 'shadow' that was bothering the children in the home was attracted to them, and only really showed itself to them while they were in the basement.

I sat cross legged in their basement, and described the fellow that came through. What he looked like, the type of words he would use, his first initial, and a few other details about  his life. He gave me a key phrase that  I should say to the family,and the mother gave an immediate response to the phrase, so I knew it was good. 

All the family members knew exactly who it was that had come through.

They gave me zero hints before the medium session began. There was no way to cheat with this case, and so they felt satisfied.

I asked the family if this particular person was a problem, now that they knew who it was. (it had been presenting to the children as just a shadow, they were physically seeing it, and the idea of a shadow immediately translated to the children as 'evil' or bad. I explained to them that the energy of this soul simply lived on a different energetic level now, and our eyes aren't equipped to translate that energy into anything more than a shadow. (this was the best description I had for this pre teen, to help them understand it but not make it all too techincal.)

In the end, the family agreed that this spirit, since it wasn't a stranger at all to them, didn't need to be cleansed out of the house at all. It was an interesting job as a Medium in Midland Ontario - I didn't need to ring any bells or ask anyone to leave at all. We didn't even use any sage or incense, or light any candles. (the family had let me know that they bless their home fairly regularly, and it was confusing to the adults in the house that this was continuing to happen, despite their own cleanings.)

I gave them some pointers on how to handle it, the words they could us to feel more in control, and words the children could use to feel more in control and not afraid. (To give them permission to tell it to go away themselves empowered them to feel safe in their own home, and knowing who it was also let them have a focus and a reason to NOT be afraid of the shadow.)
